![]() ![]() I suspect this sollution won't do in case other people play this game on the same computer, since there will be only user for this CK2 installation. But creating a symlink haven't work neither. I haven't tested yet playing from another installation but using the same user directory, sometimes I play from other computer. Otherwise the first load after this change will take longer. So, if you already have the user's dir, move the Crusader Kings II (user) folder to the new location to prevent the creation of a new directory structure. Note that all user files and folders will be placed there: gfx/, logs/, save games/, settings.txt. Cut all folders and paste them to the new location you had set above. And now you can move the saved files to the new location. \\your_path_to_ck2s_userdir_on_your_servers_share. If you use steam it'll be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\crusader kings ii.Īlso you may point to any directory you like, even in another server just inform the proper path (eg. Karklos problably figured this out already, but more info might help others.Īs InnocentIII posted you must place the file userdir.txt in the main CK2 directory, not the user directory. ![]()
